What is the Legal Practice Workshop?

As a lawyer, you may be asking yourself these questions: How do I set up a law firm? How do I get clients? What do I need to know that I don’t know?? Law school taught me the law, but nowhere did we discuss buying malpractice insurance, choosing practice management software, or maintaining healthy relationships with friends and family.

Enter the Columbus Bar Association's Legal Practice Workshop. This hands-on 6-session CLE series is designed to help you start up and maintain a successful 21st century solo or small law practice. If you are a new graduate, are looking to transition out of your current position, or are struggling to get your young practice off the ground, we will walk you through the process of designing and putting into place a modern law firm that is profitable, client-centric, and enjoyable to own.
