Program Overview
Did you know that all businesses in the State of Ohio are required to report their unclaimed funds or file a negative report every year? Yes, it's true! Not only are these reports required, but it’s also the law per Ohio Revised Code 169.
This is dedicated, intentional time for you to get information needed to comply with a newly enaction provision of Ohio’s Unclaimed Funds Law, which defines a category of unclaimed funds as attorney unclaimed funds. Join the Ohio Division of Unclaimed Funds to learn how to report attorney unclaimed funds and file your unclaimed funds report electronically.
After this webinar, you will know more about:
- Ohio’s Unclaimed Funds Law
- Attorney unclaimed funds
- Reporting guidelines & forms
- How to access resources to help with reporting unclaimed funds electronically
