YThis one-hour CLE course offers a rare inside look at the process for fair, fast, and free resolution of legal disputes arising during the Olympic Games by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the world’s supreme court for sports. Led by Professor Matt Mitten—an internationally recognized sports law expert and three-time Olympic Games arbitrator as well as a University of Toledo College of Law alumnus—this session explores how CAS arbitrators fairly resolve disputes regarding athlete eligibility to participate, competition results, and doping issues under extreme time pressure while providing due process and establishing a consistent body of Olympic and international sports jurisprudence.
